Brenda Skidmore's Health Tips

For as long as there has been inquiring minds, there has always been science. Humans have always pondered the great questions of life. Of course, the biggest question of all, how the earth, and beyond, along with life as we know it to exist came to be is a mystery that may never be collectively resolved among us. Why? I think it's human nature to love the battle of the debate.

It's obvious to me that each one of us has a, uniquely, different view on life and this particular subject in general.
What makes you or I feel secure is not meant for someone else to take away. Basically, hold on to what YOU believe and pay no mind to what another believes. Simply said, but hard to do.

The only thing that unnerves me is this, how did one questionable theory end up being taught in our public schools? Even though this theory was presented to me, I eventually chose to accept another idea instead. It made me feel a lot better about a lot of things.

I developed my own theory based partly on religion, and science. Because neither one by itself made much sense to me. Religion has always made an attempt to deal with the great mysteries of life. We call this philosophy. Science grew out of the human need to explain philosophy and, eventually, split into two separate fields.

Whether it sprang out of ignorance, arrogance, or fear, non-God believers began to use science as a means to destroy religion. Down through the ages, and up to the present, the creators of the 'evolution' theory determined in their infinite wisdom, born out of their self-proclaimed, higher intelligence, that science and religion were incompatible. I think this is a gross misjudgment that needs to be righted without resorting to meaningless rhetoric.

Determining the theory of evolution to be a fact based on the obvious results of life as it is today, and comparing museum artifacts to base their claim that time, the elements, and bacteria turns into people and other life forms is pretty hard to fathom. It still leaves a lot of unanswered questions like, at what point did the spark of life and the chain of natural selection begin? The theory of only the strongest will survive, due to the genetically superior specimen, seems to be a little scientifically flawed to me.

If you believe that to be a valid idea, then I'm afraid a lot of people are in trouble. It appears that we have procreated ourselves rather well, by looking at the population problem on Earth, despite our progression of genetic flaws. This genetic theory is delighting the current medical establishment who, wholeheartedly, embraces it.

If you, totally, fall for the inheritable gene theory as a reason why we have created disease and lower intelligence, then you probably believe that all life on Earth has evolved and adapted well to chemical interventions, nutrient deficient diets, and staying out of the sun for fear of getting skin cancer. What might that do to alter DNA over several generations?

It is highly possible that science and intelligent creation design go together really well after all. Even if either concept is hard to grasp by itself, and even if it is not one of your most pressing concerns at the moment. Most of us at one time or another, usually during a life altering crisis, has to contemplate the whys of our suffering. I'm sure the feel good answer is inside each one of us if we choose to let go of the need to be right about things that do not matter. Have you ever noticed how, effortlessly, the truth is often learned in being wrong about something? In other words, making a mistake can turn out to be a positive learning experience. Maybe that's what intelligent creation is really all about.

Better communication skills goes a long way in creating more compassion to deal with our need to be heard by one another, and without fear of rejection.

Have you ever considered the possibility that your thoughts are powerful enough to determine how happy and healthy could be?

What if a creative and intelligent force was possible inside of you, that would give you the insight to no longer have a need to blame someone, or something, for your problems?

This is not only a possibility, this technique has worked for me, and thousands of others. The only thing that prevents the improvement upon anything in life is the fear that it will not work, or that you will not succeed. Do you see how the power of the mind has the ability to accept defeat before you ever get started?

It's crazy for sure, but have a glass of water and ponder the possibilities anyway.
